Maria passed away peacefully at Copernicus Lodge on November 5, 2022 at the age of 89 after a long illness. Predeceased by her husband Jozef Gal, she will be remembered by her sister Anna Rodek (Andrew), children Elizabeth Kay, Waldemar Gal (Camila), grandchildren Amanda Schulenberg (Brian Dusault) and Ryan Gal (Melody), and great-granddaughter Adele Dusault.. A Visitation will be held at St. Johns Dixie Chapel, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass  will be held at St. Casimir's Church, 156 Roncesvalles Avenue,  on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 10:00 am, with burial at St. John's Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga  to follow.
